Carolina bluefin update update- @fishingstatus and I ran out of Oregon inlet around 3am. Pushed south and got on the 20° brake before sun up. Killed a 62” bft by 7am, released a 68” at 8am and killed an 87” at 9am. Happy new years! The bluefin bite has moved south with the colder water temps (mid 40’s) but that means it’s rockfish season! The schools of stripers have moved in giving us some epic fishing! The boys released 60+ fish and got a limit if keepers by noon on the last two trips. We counted 23 fish boated on 3 pulls!! Book a trip! They’re close to the inlet meaning less time running and more time fishing!
