    Warm temperatures will continue over the next few days as we get into the 70s on Thursday. At the same time, more rain chances will be around all the way till Saturday before getting a small break on Sunday. And then more rain chances are on the way next week.

SYNOPSIS: Warmer air will move into the area Thursday, with a mix of cloud and sun. Clouds will lower behind a cold front Friday with showers in the area. The rain showers will linger into Saturday before we clear Sunday. DELMARVA FORECAST Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy, and mild. Low 47-48°. Winds: SW 8-12 mph. Thursday: Partly sunny, breezy and warmer. A few spotty showers about PM. High 73°. Wind: S 12-20 mph. Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, and very mild. Spotty showers about. Low 55°. Winds: SW 8-14 mph. Friday: Mostly cloudy and cooler, with scattered showers. High 62°. Wind: NE 6-13 mph. Forecast Discussion: Tonight will be mostly cloudy and not as cold with light south winds. Look for lows in the upper 40's, and there will be some spotty showers in the area. Thursday will stay rather cloudy with some very spotty showers in the afternoon and evening. Rainfall is more likely over the northern half of Delmarva, and any rainfall will be quite light. The temps. will warm to near 75 degrees, with a nice south breeze in the afternoon. An onshore wind flow will keep coastal beaches much cooler with temps. Staying in the mid/upper 50's. It will be much warmer just inland due to a SW wind flow. A cold front will drift south across the area early Friday, and it will stay rather cloudy with passing showers likely. The temps. will be cooler with most spots falling into the mid 50's, but it will be much cooler with 40's right on the beaches. In the longer range: There will be rain Saturday with partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies. Look for Saturday afternoon temps. from 67°. Sunday looks partly to mostly sunny, and it will be mild with temps in the mid 60's. Monday looks partly cloudy with temps. In the low 60's. Tuesday looks cooler with clouds and the temperatures will be near 58-60 in the afternoon. Rain is likely at times on Tuesday. There is rather high uncertainty today in the long-range forecast. The average low for mid-March is 36°, with a high temp. of 56°.

Milder weather will linger into the weekend, but a weak cool front will pass Friday. DELMARVA FORECAST Tonight: High clouds, and not as cold. Low 34-36°. Winds: S 2-7 mph. Wednesday: Increasing clouds and milder. Spotty showers about PM. High 62°. Wind: S 7-16 mph. Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, and mild. Light winds. Low 48°. Winds: SW 4-10 mph.     With a warm afternoon today, clouds are on the increase as we get into the overnight hours. Tomorrow will be warmer as well with a few sprinkles but a better chance of rain in on the way for this weekend.

    A wonderful sunny afternoon but a little bit on the chillier side. But the good news is, that will change starting tomorrow. 60s and 70s are on the way for this week. Although more rain chances are in the forecast at the end of the week.

SYNOPSIS: A cold air mass covers the region this evening and we will see widespread frost again tonight. An Arctic high will move east of the area later tomorrow and milder air will begin to return. A milder weather pattern will linger for much of the week but some clouds and spotty showers are possible from Wednesday into Saturday. DELMARVA FORECAST Tonight: Clear and not as cold. Widespread frost. Low 27°. Winds: S 0-4 mph. Tuesday: Sunny and not as cool. High 60°. Wind: S 1-7 mph. Tuesday Night: Clear and not as cold. Light winds. Low 35-37°. Winds: S 1-7 mph. Wednesday: Increasing clouds and milder. Spotty showers about PM. High 62°. Wind: S 7-15 mph. Forecast Discussion: Tonight will be clear and cold with mainly calm winds as an Arctic high pressure moves across the region. We will see another freeze and widespread frost by daybreak. A combination of low relative humidity, a gusty northwest wind, and dry fine fuels will lead to an elevated risk for fire spread with any potential fire starts afternoon across southeast Pennsylvania, northern Delaware, and eastern Maryland. Minimum relative humidity values this afternoon will range from 20 to 25 percent across the region. West to northwest winds will range from 12 to 20 mph with 25 to 35 mph gusts. Residents are urged to exercise caution if handling any potential ignition source, including machinery, cigarettes, and matches. Be sure to properly discard all smoking materials. Any dry grasses, dead leaves, and other tree litter that ignite will have the potential to spread fire quickly. For more information about wildfire danger, burn restrictions, and wildfire prevention and eduction, please visit your state's forestry or environmental protection website.
