Captain Brian has a lifetime of experience on the water and is passionate about sharing the outdoors with others. No matter your age, skill level or budget, Captain Brian will make sure your day on the water is one you’ll remember and cherish forever.
Pocomoke River Fishing
Experience one of the most diverse, unique, picturesque river and forest ecosystems on the East Coast. Deep and slow, the Pocomoke’s dark waters meander through a rich forest home to loblolly pines and bald cypress trees. The fishing in this river is abundantly productive 12 months out of the year. In winter big crappies, bluegills, and yellow perch seek cover amongst the fallen timber that borders the river. In summer and fall, acres of lilypads provide endless habitat for largemouth bass. The Pocomoke is a light tackle paradise for anglers wishing to test their skills with light spinning or fly tackle. Captain Brian has experience in a myriad of techniques giving you the best possible chance for success! No matter the time of year, Buffalo Hunter Guide Service is committed to bringing you the best the shore has to offer!

Wachapreague Virginia Fishing
Billed as the “Flounder Capital of the World,” Wachapreague VA provides anglers with scenic views, warm hospitality and the opportunity for the first cooler full of fillets of the year! Beginning in early April and continuing through May, the vast marshes and coastal bays around Wachapreague host a seasonal influx of hungry flounders, and since he was a kid, Capt. Brian has been there to meet them. From time-honored tried and true tactics like drifting minnows over oyster bottom or channel ledges, to slow trolling across huge sand and mudflats, Capt. Brian is prepared with the know-how and experience to put you on some flounder! Comfortable and friendly accommodations are available right in town courtesy of the newly renovated Wachapreague Inn and Hotel.

Tangier Sound/Lower Chesapeake
Experience fishing more indicative of the marshes of Louisiana or Texas than of the Chesapeake Bay! Casting light spinning or fly tackle in the endless shallows around wind blown points, stump fields, or submerged grass flats, this fishing produces anglers with arguably the best chance for numbers of speckled trout and redfish on the eastern shore, with hard fighting eager rockfish almost always in the mix! Any skill level angler can have success with us and all are welcome! We concentrate on this fishing in the fall of the year, mainly from late August through November when the fish and bait are plentiful in the back creeks and marshes. Our Pathfinder 2200 TRS gives us unrestricted and stealthy access to these shallow waters providing clients with a tremendous opportunity for a unique and unforgettable fishing experience!
